Chilliz and Azuro have joined forces to tap into the growing onchain sports prediction market. The collaboration will see Chiliz Chain integrate the Azuro Protocol, incorporating supported chains such as Polygon and Gnosis Chain. This partnership will enable Chiliz to expand into the sports-focused prediction applications market, allowing developers using the Azuro infrastructure to connect their apps to the Chiliz Chain. Users will be able to make transactions using Chiliz’s native token, CHZ. Alexandre Dreyfus, CEO of Chiliz and Socios.com, stated that integrating with Azuro will allow Chiliz Chain to take advantage of the rapidly expanding onchain prediction market and empower developers to innovate within the sports and gaming sectors. In April, Azuro raised $11 million and became the fastest-growing protocol on Gnosis Chain and the leading revenue-generating protocol on Polygon. Azuro and Chiliz also announced plans to launch a co-sponsored grants program, incentivizing app developers to build on their combined infrastructure and promote the adoption of onchain prediction markets. Chiliz is a platform that facilitates the distribution of blockchain-based sports and entertainment services and goods. It offers fan tokens, allowing users and teams to communicate and participate on the platform. Chiliz has partnerships with major sports teams such as FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City.
