Visa has partnered with Coinbase to enable eligible debit card users in the US and EU to instantly fund their Coinbase accounts. Previously, there was a delay in fund availability for trading on Coinbase, but this new integration with Visa Direct aims to eliminate those wait times. Visa’s technology allows for near-instantaneous money movement, making transactions faster and more efficient. Users can now buy cryptocurrencies directly on Coinbase with their Visa debit card and cash out to their bank account using the same card. This feature improves the user experience on Coinbase, especially with the Coinbase Visa debit card in the US and the Coinbase Visa card in the UK. Visa has also established partnerships with over 50 crypto entities to launch card programs, making cryptocurrencies more practical for everyday use.
