Zentry, previously known as GuildFi, has secured strategic funding to propel the development of its Metagame Layer, according to a press release. The funding round saw investments from Spartan Capital, Synergis, LongHash Ventures, and DWF Labs. Zentry’s treasury now stands at over $150 million, including 16,000+ ETH. This funding will enable the company to advance the development of the Metagame Layer, which aims to unite gamers across different platforms and create a vibrant Play Economy. Zentry’s founder and CEO, Jarindr Thitadilaka, expressed excitement about the valuable expertise brought by Spartan Capital, Synergis, and LongHash, as they play a critical role in executing the company’s vision. In April, GuildFi rebranded as Zentry and announced plans to build the Metagame Layer, which will integrate loyalty systems, gamer identities, and cross-world activities from various games and platforms. The company aims to connect the digital and physical worlds and become a dominant distribution source for new games and entertainment.
