According to the press release, the collaboration aims to drive the digital evolution of the gaming industry and enhance gaming experiences on a global scale.
Elixir Games plans to utilize the undisclosed additional funding to enhance its launcher platform and develop new game IPs (intellectual properties).
At present, the launcher platform features over 150 games and has garnered more than 1 million downloads since its inception.
CEO Carlos Roldan expressed Elixir Games’ vision to “challenge the boundaries of gaming.”
He hailed the support and strategic investment from WEMIX as an expansion of their existing partnership, enabling them to expedite growth and deliver more innovative and immersive experiences, ultimately shaping the future of gaming.
Establishing a Strong Web3 Business Foundation
Elixir Games is leveraging blockchain technology to grant players true ownership of in-game assets and promote a player-centric economy.
The company is constructing a comprehensive suite of products as a holistic solution for Web3 gaming, including a user-friendly wallet system, streamlined onboarding for new users, payment gateways, a games marketplace, enterprise infrastructure solutions, and a platform for upcoming IPs.
Moreover, the platform offers gamification features such as a Season Pass, quests, giveaways, tournaments, and leaderboards.
Elixir Games has forged partnerships with industry giants like Square Enix and GameStop, while the acquisitions of RoboKiden and LitLab Games have positioned it as a significant publisher.
In May 2024, the company successfully raised $14 million from investors such as Square Enix, with backing from the Solana Foundation, NeoTokyo, Shima Capital, Blizzard Fund, and CyberKongz.
This funding will support the launch of the ELIX token and the Launchpad & Incubation Program.

Together, WEMIX and Elixir Games aim to establish a robust foundation for a flourishing Web3 business and push the boundaries of the gaming industry.
