GCR confirmed the hack and urged followers to disregard any promotional posts. He suspects that an employee at Twitter may have been bribed to gain access to his account, highlighting a security breach. After the hacker’s post, the price of ORDI briefly rose from $40 to $44 before falling back down. The token is currently trading at $40. Luna 2.0 also experienced a momentary surge of 274%. Experts believe that this hack is part of a larger scheme targeting celebrities and crypto influencers who are launching meme coins. It is advised that individuals exercise caution when dealing with such coins. Similar incidents have occurred with American rapper “Rich The Kid” and media celebrity Caitlyn Jenner, where their accounts were used to promote memecoins on the pump.fun platform.
